Lovejoy’s Antiques has been
dealing in fine antiques and investment quality lighting for
over twenty years. We opened our first store on Main Street
in downtown Royal Oak, Michigan in the early eighties and
have been at our current location on Eleven Mile Road in
Royal Oak since 1988. Our primary area of expertise is
Decorative Arts from the 19th and early 20th century with
the main focus on lighting. In addition to the Some of our lamps can be seen
pictured in The Handel Lamps Book by Hibel & Fontaine
and in 2002 we were asked to write a special feature on
Early Electric Lamps and Lighting for The Antiques
Trader “Lamps & Lighting Price Guide”. The article dealt
with the ever-expanding lamp market and provided tips
for beginning collectors.
